Star prospect Paua Of Oscar last night equalled retired champion Aston Bolero’s Warragul 400-metre track record, which has stood for almost four and a half years.
Aston Bolero clocked a stunning 22.073sec, at his 54th start on August 30, 2016. At that time, he had also contested eight group race finals.
However, Paua Of Oscar matched that mark at only his third start.
