HOBART THOUSAND FINAL: Above All out to Break 53 Year Drought

By grvadmin

Not since Ophir Doll in 1961-62 has a greyhound won consecutive Hobart Thousands, but former Kiwi star Above All will attempt to achieve that feat on Thursday night at 9:39pm.

Victorian-trained greyhounds have won the past four Hobart Thousands, and the Big V looks primed to strike again through the quartet of Above All (pictured with trainer Robert Britton), his Tasmanian-bred kennelmate Bearville Azza who was the fastest heat winner in 25.89, Dyna Double One and Unlawful Entry.

Dyna Double One is Australia’s most in-form greyhound right now having won his past five races including the Group 1 Melbourne Cup/Brisbane Cup double.
