REGALLY bred youngster Times Square is set to take on the best speedsters in the country after winning Saturday night’s WA Sprint Championship at Mandurah.
Trained by Chris Halse, the victory booked the daughter of Spiral Nikita and West On Bluebird a spot in the group 1 National final, to be run and won at Angle Park in South Australia on August 27.
Stepping from box six in the WA final on Saturday night, Times Square was only fairly into stride with grand campaigner Thunder Rama (box three) charging through to take the early lead.
