Victorian participants have been given more time to comment on Greyhound Australasia’s (GA) proposed Rule changes regarding animal welfare and administered substances.
The consultation period has been extended by three weeks to ensure that participants have enough time to consider the rule changes and provide feedback. It will conclude on Friday 9 March.
GA released the proposed amendments last month. Greyhound Racing Victoria is seeking comment from Victorian participants before we consider adopting these rules in Victoria. We are also working with GA to prepare a series of fact sheets that will explain the Rule changes in more detail.
