The king of Victorian Country Cups, Zambora Brockie has retired after finishing third to Blazin’ Bomber on Saturday night in a heat of the Australian Cup at The Meadows.
Finishing with 31 wins from 53 starts and surpassing half a million dollars in prize money, Zambora Brockie has already made himself at home on trainer Anthony Azzopardi’s couch.
“He is three-and-a-half now and he has done more than his owner Charlie and myself could have asked for,” Anthony Azzopardi explained.
