Proposed rule changes – public consultation

GRV is proposing to amend the Rules of Racing to:

• reduce the burden on syndicates and increase participation while also ensuring they meet all animal welfare and integrity standards;
• clarify the application of exclusion of liability for satisfactory trials and racing events; and
• update the functions of the Greyhound Racing Victoria Integrity Council.

GRV would like to hear the views of participants and general public on these proposed changes. The closing date for submissions is 4pm Friday 7^th of December. For more information and to make a submission, visit
