Paul Stuart had a night to remember on Saturday night after securing six runners for next week’s Group Three Young Star Classic Final.
In the first heat of the night Astronomize started as the $2.40 favourite from box six. As expected Starlight Jack (box two) paying $3.70 and Cork Popper (box three) paying $9.00 led the field out of the boxes, with Astronomize not far behind. It was only a matter of time before Astronomize worked his way into second place while Alotta Luck was doing the hard yards working his way through the rear end of the field.
