Patty prevails in Warrnambool Cup

Andrea Dailly’s dual Group 1 winner Dyna Patty added a country cup to her already outstanding resume with a dominant victory in Wednesday night’s Group 2 Macey’s Bistro Warrnambool Cup Final (450m).

In claiming the $47,000 winner’s purse, Dyna Patty denied favourite Orson Allen, another Wheeler family bred and raced superstar, Greyhound Racing Victoria’s $50,000 bonus for claiming three country cups in a calendar year – for the time being at least.

After already taking out the Cranbourne and Horsham Cups this year, Orson Allen was the fastest qualifier at Warrnambool with a 24.94sec heat success on debut at the venue.
