Hoping for a Zipping success

Jake Collins believes that trialling was the key to Zipping Captains success in Wednesday night’s heats of the Group Two Warrnambool Cup.

Zipping Captain ran second to Horsham Cup winner Jimmy Newob who recorded the fastest heat win in 24.872sec. Zipping Captain stopped the clock in 24.995sec, the fourth fastest qualifying time.

“He did everything we could have asked for. It was pretty tight early on, Jimmy Newob got the nice run around – he is a classy dog and is always going to be a hard one to catch running those times,” Jake Collins said.
