GRV VIC BRED MAIDEN: Litter has massive say

The Jessica Sharp-trained Oronsay has won the opening feature event on Australian Cup night, taking out the $35,000 Group 3 Vic Bred Maiden Final (525m) at The Meadows.

A 22 month old daughter of Walk Hard and Dirty Angel, Oronsay defeated Brueghelino (Des Douch) to claim the $25,000 first prize, with litter sister and kennelmate Angel Dash third in 30.13sec.

Breeder and owner Sam Bonaccurso was thrilled with the performance.

“This is a huge thrill. I won this race as a trainer four years ago, which was an amazing feeling and this is just as special,” Sam said.
