Country Racing Set To Take Centre Stage At Coonamble

The Coonamble Greyhound Racing Club has a very long and successful history. For over forty years the club has held the biggest non tab carnival in Australia.

Trainers come from all over the country to try their luck over the three days of racing. The biggest race on the calendar is the maiden 301, which this year is sponsored by Jamie McHugh and his company Global Hr. Jamie grew up in Coonamble and still has family in the town and involved in the club. The heats are on the Saturday, with the final on the Monday.
