Blue Dogs do it for Prostate Cancer

Greyhound Racing Victoria’s inaugural Go The Blue Dog campaign has raised $62,500 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, having drawn to a close on Wednesday night.

Some 125 greyhounds wearing the blue number four rug won a greyhound race in Victoria during September, with each victory contributing $500 to the cause.

September is the international month of prostate cancer awareness and, while the Go The Blue Dog campaign is now closed for 2015, the sport of greyhound racing continues to support the PCFA.
