Leviathan owner, Paul Wheeler, admits that the lure of the TAB Melbourne Cup may be too difficult to ignore for champion greyhound Xylia Allen.
Speaking with RSN’s Winners Greyhound Panel, Wheeler admitted that he is considering racing Australia’s greatest ever stakes earner in the world’s richest race in November.
“I was talking to Jenny (trainer, Jenny Hunt) and there’s a little bit of consideration with Xylia to perhaps drop her back to the sprint and have a go at the Melbourne Cup this year,” Wheeler said on Thursday.
