One For Me has claimed his first group race tonight by winning the $106,500 Group 2 Macey’s Bistro Warrnambool Classic (450m).
The Jeff Britton-trained greyhound delivered a faultless performance, leading from start to finish and scoring by six lengths in the impressive time of 24.897sec.
“I was really concerned with his draw (box 4) but as the race turned out there was no need to worry because he began brilliantly and made his own luck.”
“I knew he had the ability to win the race, but it was all simply a matter of him getting a clear run,” Britton said.
