Greyhound Racing Victoria’s Stakeholder Engagement Workshops continue around the state, the latest of which was the second ‘Breeding & Breeding Controls’ workshop, this time held at the Geelong Greyhound Racing Club last Saturday.
Among the panelists was accomplished breeder Lenny Jones of Woodend, who called for the Greyhound Owners Breeders Incentive Scheme (GOBIS) to be reinstated.
“I would list GOBIS as my first option because I think it gave people an incentive not only to breed but to breed good dogs and get results,” Jones said.
