Victorian greyhound racing takes up the Treadmill Challenge

GRV acting Chair Peita Duncan and CEO Alan Clayton, assisted by greyhounds Blue and Princess, took part in 3AW’s Very Special Kids Treadmill Challenge today to help raise $1 million for sick kids in 24 hour care at Victoria’s only children’s hospice.

Treadmills have been in continuous motion at 3AW’s Melbourne headquarters since 9am this morning and will continue for 24 hours until 9am Saturday.

A $1000 donation from GRV on behalf of Victoria’s greyhound racing community booked a treadmill for a 30 minute block, with Peita and Alan clocking up several kilometres during Neil Mitchell’s popular morning program.
