Victorian greyhound meetings to proceed with strict attendance restrictions

Greyhound Clubs Victoria’s 13 clubs, in consultation with GRV, have today determined to immediately restrict attendance at race meetings to licensed trainers (or trainer’s representatives) with runners engaged, catchers and essential staff.

Following on from today’s announcement that Victoria has been declared a state of emergency, the greyhound racing industry, in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19 and protect the wellbeing of industry staff and participants, declare all greyhound race meetings will be off limits to the general public effective immediately and ongoing during which time a state of emergency is in place.
