Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club’s new distance racing series will begin next Wednesday night, with the main focus of this series is to encourage new dogs and trainers into distance racing.
As announced in December, the Ballarat Distance Challenge (660m) will run for the first time in February 2020 and will not be the usual heat and final series. Instead the Grand Final of the Ballarat Distance Challenge will be made up of the fastest eight qualifiers from three Preludes.
The Ballarat Distance Challenge Grand Final will be run on Wednesday 25 February with $10,000 going to the winner.
