Imported sprinter and later outstanding outcross sire Which Chariot scored an impressive 10 lengths victory over 500 yards at Harold Park in 1960. The import, who had raced in the UK, had won his first two Australian starts, at Goulburn, in September.

The Darren McDonald-trained Shanlyn Prince defeated Pete’s Conquest by half a head with Run’s House third in the 2007 Shepparton Cup. Shanlyn Prince ran a fast 29.87 to pick up the $15,000 winner’s cheque.
