Aussie super stayer Sweet It Is has made a huge impression first up in New Zealand by overcoming early interference to break Auckland’s 779m track record in her first visit at the track.
Contesting a heat of the NZ$80,000 to the winner Silver Collar yesterday, the Braden Finn-trained greyhound shaved .01sec off the track record when running 46.07sec.
The Group 1 Silver Collar Final will be run on Sunday.
