Fernando Bale is the world’s first greyhound to win $1Million in prize money following a stunning victory in the Group 1 Adelaide Cup (515m) on Friday night.
Trained in Victoria by Andrea Dailly, the white and brindle sprinter has carved out an incredible career since making his debut last December.
This was his 31st victory from just 38 starts and his seventh Group 1 win, with the $75,000 first prize taking his career earnings up to $1,006,110.
