Lady Toy Claims Two Time Records In Successive Starts

THE unfashionably-bred stayer Lady Toy (Our Toyman x Railway Shiraz) has bookended her last start for 2014 and her first for 2015 with two time records, at Ballarat and Cranbourne respectively.

Lady Toy ended 2014 by being the last greyhound to set a track record last year, narrowly eclipsing the 660 metres mark at Ballarat on 31 December.

Then, for good measure, she started 2015 with a tremendous victory in the Victoria Cup, run over 699 metres at Cranbourne on Cranbourne Cup final night, scoring in a sizzling 41.34 to take 15/100ths off the previous best set in this race, by Tassie Read full article
