Kenyons loaded with Warrnambool Ammo

Husband-and-wife training team Adrian and Renee Kenyon will head to Warrnambool on Saturday night hoping strength in numbers and early speed will give them a winning edge in the rich Summer Sizzle Final (390m).

The Lara-based Kenyons will have two finalists chasing the $10,000 winner’s purse in Blackpool Ammo (box 5), winner of his past three starts, including a 22.13s heat victory, and Blackpool Marvel (box 3).

“It’s a pretty handy final and they haven’t drawn super well but they’ve both got good early speed,” Adrian Kenyon said.

“So hopefully they’ll settle on the pace and there’ll be some trouble behind them.”
