Quick Step (Pictured above. Photo credit Julie Ward) was quick off the mark to ensure an easy victory in Wednesday night’s $7,500 Above All VIC Bred Final (520m) at Cranbourne.
The surprise victor paid $9.20 for the win; with favourite Pretty Bomb ($1.80) jumping from box one, unable to find her way through the field after missing the start.
From 16 starts Quick Step has won on three occasions with eight minor placings for trainer Chris Johannsen.
