Jenny Hunt Receives 18-Month Disqualification

The independent Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board (RADB) has disqualified registered trainer Ms Jenny Hunt for 18 months effective Monday 4 May.

The disqualification follows a positive post-race swab for Amphetamine, 4-hydroxyamphetamine and 4-hydroxymethamphetamine (commonly known as ‘ice’) recorded by greyhound ‘Jubilea Bale’ following a heat of the Warragul Cup on Saturday 17 January 2015 and subsequent Stewards investigation into the matter.

Ms Hunt was charged under Greyhounds Australasia Rule 83 (2) (3) in that the trainer failed to present a greyhound free of any prohibited substance for an event.
