It is with great sadness that Greyhound Racing Victoria announces the passing of Matthew (Matt) Ansell, 51, on Sunday 17 January, suddenly.
Matt was well known to many in the industry as a vital member of the Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club.
Having worked as the Club Manager some years ago, Matt recently returned to the club, again as the manager; with his experience and his wisdom being drawn upon by all in the industry.
Our condolences to Matt’s family, wife Denese, children Nick and Jack – he is a great loss to the sport of greyhound racing in this State.
