Young Lara trainer Brooke Ennis, 34, collected her second $157,875 Group 1 Silver Chief (525m) in four years at The Meadows on Saturday night.
But not only did she take home the $100,000 first prize – in the age-restricted, all-male event sponsored by Sportsbet – she quinellaed the race with Jul ’20 Zambora Brockie x Miami Fernando litter brothers Amron Boy and Amron Dan.
Ennis won the 2019 Silver Chief with Barooga Brett – owned in similar interests to Amron Boy.
