GRV will increase the number of ‘Hybrid’ race meetings from Friday 7th June onwards with the aim to better utilise the current active greyhound racing population. A ‘Hybrid’ meeting is a Provincial Full Stakes meeting with advertised rank limit events (Eg. 250+ Ranking).

The announcement comes as the total number of nominations for Provincial Full Stakes meetings has continued to decline in recent months and ‘hybrid’ meetings allow for greyhounds of lesser ability to compete against greyhounds of a similar level for full stakes prizemoney.
