Group racing action heads to Shepparton

Shepparton will host three heats of the Group 3 Northern Districts Cup (450m) this evening, with the first two placegetters and two fastest thirds to make it through to Saturday night’s $25,000 to-the-winner final.

This event has a unique criteria, being open only to Victorian-bred greyhounds with:

• No city wins (full stakes)
• Less than $25,000 in prize money
• Had a minimum two starts at Shepparton.
