GREYHOUND Racing (NSW) released a proposed new prize money structure Tuesday for the upcoming 2016/2017 racing calendar, with the aim to provide a more balanced distribution of prize money across all sectors of TAB racing within the state.
Notably, the new structure will result in an overall increase of total prize money distributed across the state of approximately $1.1 million, marking the first prize money increase in four years.
Another key aspect of the proposal includes the introduction of another category of racing – to be known as ‘Metropolitan Entry’ – which will take the place of the current A2 category.
