Greyhound racing to continue without crowds

Victorian greyhound racing will maintain its current status of allowing essential persons only on-course at ALL race meetings and trial sessions around the state until further advice is received from the Chief Health Officer.

While the Victorian Government announced the lifting of the state-wide lockdown at 11.59pm tonight, GRV’s decision to continue without crowds falls into line with other sporting codes including the AFL.

As such, the following protocols remain in place:

– Health screening / pre-entry temperature testing will continue
– QR code sign in remains mandatory
– Social distancing of 1.5 metres
