It was a case of deja vu at Gosford tonight with another track record falling, this time over the 400 metres. Tracey Bruce’s talented sprinter Cawbourne Havoc returned from a 12-week spell and shattered the previous record held by All Tommie, clocking 22.47 in an astonishing display.
This beautifully bred son of Brett Lee and American Spot reduced the record set in 2012 by 0.14, with a sizzling early split of 10.50 and an equally impressive run home time of 12.00. Bruce was elated with the performance, which she watched with her family at their Hunter Valley property.
