Good ‘Moon’ Rising in Lizrene?

Junction Village trainer Jess Hopkins is hoping there’s a good ‘Moon’ rising at Sandown Park on Friday night.

Hopkins has Alfie Moon (Box 1) engaged in the $22,000 G3 The Lizrene (715m) – Race 6, 8.49pm – in a quest to finally emulate her beloved late grandfather, George Rose , as a Group race winning trainer.

Rose claimed the 1996 G1 Topgun with Wylie Boy, who also received 1996 Victorian GOTY honours.
