Group 1 TAB Melbourne Cup winner Dyna Double One is racing in Queensland tonight in a heat of the $107,000 Group 1 Brisbane Cup (520m) at Albion Park.
While the Andrea Dailly-trained superstar is the headline act among the six heats, another greyhound with a chance to make a name for herself is fellow Victorian Sacramento Sal.
Sacramento Sal, pictured with trainer Jessica Sharp, was the first reserve in last Friday night’s $600,000 TAB Melbourne Cup.
“She was so close to making the Melbourne Cup, which would have given us an enormous thrill,” Sharp’s husband Jason said.
