Team Dailly will be chasing a Group 1 double in Sydney on Saturday night when the National Derby and National Futurity Finals are held at Wentworth Park.
The Daillys are taking aim at back-to-back victories in the Derby with Diego Bale, with superstar Fernando Bale having launched his magnificent career when winning the event in 2015.
After running third in a heat of the Paws Of Thunder at his first appearance at Wentworth Park, Fernando Bale incredibly won his next 10 starts at the track, with the Derby the first of the recently retired champion’s four Group 1 triumphs at the venue.
