Blue Striker, trained in Reservoir by Peter Akathiotis, is one of the youngest contenders in this Saturday night’s $67,000 Group 2 Spolly’s Syndications Cranbourne Cup (520m). He is currently one of Victoria’s most consistent greyhounds, placing in 19 of his past 20 starts, and is a rare example of a group class greyhound being trained in the suburbs of Melbourne.
