A host of Victorian-trained greyhounds will be in Adelaide tonight for heats of South Australia’s premier greyhound race, the Group 1 Adelaide Cup.
Ollie Bale is favourite to win the series at $6.00, ahead of Campaspe Will at $6.50 and Allen Deed at $7.00, while the shortest priced non-Victorian trained greyhound is reigning champion and local hero Ernie Bung Arrow at $8.00.
Norm Walls, trainer of Campaspe Will, is confident about his greyhound’s chances of winning his way into the $107,000 final despite the fact he has never been to Angle Park before.
