The Ready 2 Race sales is a fantastic concept and the day was a credit to the GRV and Bendigo Club from a hospitality point of view. Full race day style catering, a fully stocked bar and an open TAB provided breeders, trainers and buyers with everything they could have wanted.
Except for the opportunity to buy the dogs that they had come to purchase.
Plenty of dogs “went under the hammer”, but plenty didn’t. They might be listed as sold, but when they are being bought back does it really count?
