Australian Racing Greyhound have had to say sorry without reservation to Mr Paul Newson after publishing two articles which implied he carried out his role as the interim CEO of GRNSW improperly, and have retracted the articles.
An article, titled Outgoing CEO Paul Newson never had his heart in the job published on July 14, 2016, falsely alleged Mr Newson was appointed by the NSW Premier to establish an inquiry leading to the abolition of greyhound racing and secretly carried out the Premier’s directive to abolish greyhound racing.
