It is the Group One that every greyhound participant wants to win and they get a chance again as the heats of the Melbourne Cup take place at Sandown Park on Thursday night.
As expected, the eight heats are brimming with quality as 64 greyhounds compete for their spot in next week’s $420,000 to-the-winner final. Only the winners from each heat will secure a place in the final.
