Trained by Jessica Sharp, Let’s Win Coin (Box 2) looks a ‘moneymaker’ considering she’s a dual Group 1 Sapphire Crown finalist – 2002 (2^nd to Wow She’s Fast) and 2023 (5^th to Baby Jaycee).

Those statistics alone indicate she’s a ‘mint’ prospect in the all-female Floodfawn Classic series.

Milestone marvels still celebrating

Earlier this month, trainers Sharyn Combridge and Adele Powell experienced victories over the 300m flying short course at Healesville.

Ring A Dusty (October ’20 Fully Loaded x Ringading Sister) won in 16.94sec for Combridge and Bear Lee Bandit (February ’20 Black Bear Lee x Inmate) stormed to victory in 16.57sec for Powell.

For both women, the straight track victories on the same day arrived soon after achieving magnificent milestones with kennel veterans.

Champion Pearcedale trainer Jason Thompson produced a winning ‘signal’ with Transponder in the $110,000 Listed Sportsbet Pink Diamond Champion Sprinter final (460m) at Warragul on Friday night.

Owned by Amanda Tullio, Transponder ($4.80) ‘transmitted’ his brilliance in taking out a $75,000 first prize defeating Rejuvenate ($3.30F) by 2.4L, with Paddy Wants Pats ($18.40) a further 0.16L away third in a slick 25.47sec.
